Description
Being safe and feeling safe are not the same thing — and that distinction is everything. Kids with baffling behaviors are often stuck in a nervous system state that reads the world as dangerous, even when it isn’t. This training explores the three places children unconsciously scan for safety cues, and why we can’t simply tell kids to feel safe. Caregivers will leave with practical, doable strategies for adjusting their own nervous system, their environment, and their interactions — so their kids’ nervous systems finally get the message that it’s safe to settle down.
